San Francisco Botanical Garden Call for Entries
Vision Statement:
Design a dynamic landscape feature that speaks of geological history, continent formation and plant migration, speciation and evolution.
Create a site sculpture of uplifted earth and stone, water, paving and planting-which symbolically represents the historic formation and eventual re-distribution of Gondwanaland.
Express the dynamics of motion in a compelling way, with fractured and spiraling forms. These forms radiate out and into the surrounding gardens and landscape, defining, connecting and giving meaning to this place.
